That day was like any other day; Ordinary visit at the mall.. few finds at ross, california roll for lunch, and iced fudge ripple from coffee beanery. For what i can recall, i wanted to do something adventurous that day..
i wanted to splurge but was short of splurging funds lol. I had the whole day to myself, my husband at work. As i was thinking while walking (yup im a multi tasker haha), right when i was asking myself what i should do next.. i found myself infront of a hair salon.
"should i???????"
i hesitated for 2 seconds, walked in, not having any appointment, asked for any stylist available to do their magic on me. oooo i'm so brave!.. i know.. only for that day for some odd reason.
One stylist happened to be available, she (a very pretty he) came up to me, and asked wat i wanted to be done exactly.. i was so close to say "whatever style you think would look good on me".. but i somehow snapped back in reality and said..
"i really just want to get a trim, to get rid of the damages/split ends."
She then examined my hair.. (note: my hair is fine and thin, with long layers, layers of dye,perhaps a bit sun damaged)
from there, i knew it wouldn't just be a trim.. i swallowed hard, and agreed to cut it short, since i've been contemplating whether i should really give it a go. my husband have always liked my long hair.. i did too.. but i've always thought.. hair grows back, so why not.....
i tried not to look down on the floor to see how much had been cut off, but i still looked.. scared the shit out of me and asked myself.. what the hell were you thinking??????
she finally styled it... and i must say.. i was impressed. i actually like it....
hubby didn't like how short it was in the back tho.. oh well he'll get over it :P
