SMOKEY yellows & greens

here's a really fun look!!

u can never go wrong with smokey eyes, i'm pretty sure everybody loves wearing it as much as i do -- the usual smokey eyes with black&grey.. or with dark colors. why not with bright colors right????

APPLYING LIGHTEST COLOR TO DARKEST IS SOMETHING I ALWAYS KEEP IN MIND WHENEVER I'M DEALING WITH MULTIPLE COLORS... FOR BLENDING PURPOSES. ALSO WHEN THE COLORS OVERLAP, THE LIGHTEST WILL BE UNDERNEATH ALL THE DARKER COLORS... GOOD FOR GRADIENT EFFECT, HENCE - GOOD MAKE UP APPLICATION.

ONE SECRET IN CREATING MAKEUP LOOKS... IS..... WELL BLENDED HARSH LINES. MAKE IT A HABBIT TO BLEND OUT THE HARSH LINES FOR EVERY COLOR YOU APPLY... WORKED FOR ME :)

SO BLEND BLEND BLEND LADIES...

APPLY PRIMER/CREAM COLOR BASE
a white color base (or white eyeliner) is also good under bright colors!!

APPLY A HIGHLIGHT COLOR UNDER UR BROWS
mac "shroom" e/s

APPLY AN ORANGE COLOR ON THE CREASE WITH A FLUFFY BLENDING BRUSH
(don't be afraid to pass the crease cuz this will be the color between your highlight color and your darker crease color)

mac "rule" e/s (#224 brush)

PAT ON A BRIGHT YELLOW ON THE INNER 1/3rd OF THE LID

mac "chrome yellow" e/s (#242 or #239)

using the same brush... LIME GREEN ON THE MIDDLE

mac "bitter" e/s

then on the outer 1/3rd of your lid... APPLY A DARKER GREEN

mac "landscape green" pigment
(with pigments a damp brush is recommended, i sprayed my brush with mac FIX+)

APPLY A DARK COLOR OF YOUR CHOICE on the CREASE (BLACK WILL DO)

THIS IS MY FAVORITE CREASE COLOR CUZ IT'S NOT AS INTENSE AND IT WORKS WELL WITH ANY COLOR!!

mac "sketch" e/s (#226 brush)

BLEND BLEND BLEND BLEND BLEND

... if you feel like you're losing certain color while blending, re-apply a minimal amount at a time.......

GO ON WITH YOUR LOWER LASH LINE.. apply same colors in the same order as your lid WITH A PENCIL BRUSH

chrome yellow -- bitter -- landscape green - sketch
THEN COMPLETE YOUR LOOK WITH BLACK EYELINER, MASCARA AND NEUTRAL LIPCOLOR...
*mac blacktrack fluidline, maybelline's lash stylist*

SIMPLE RULE WITH DOING SMOKEY OR BRIGHT EYE MAKEUP IS TONING DOWN WITH EVERYTHING ELSE, MOST ESPECIALLY WITH YOUR LIPS....
mac "hight tea" l/s & "florabundance" gloss"

THE RESULTS........

with flash....

thanks for visiting my site :)

later lovelies!
